Absolute Filtration Ltd is a third-generation family business 100% Kiwi owned and operated. It’s origins date from when Gerald Anthony Taylor started Fram New Zealand in the 1960s. The Fram factory employed most of Howick at one time or another until the American parent company closed down operations in the small town in the mid-1980s.
Fram’s Industrial products provided vessels and filtration elements to most of New Zealand’s and the Pacific Islands Aviation sites. Some of which are still in operation after 50+ Years!
George Taylor, Gerald’s son opened Anthony Preston Limited in 1984. Over the years Anthony Preston’s key market became water filtration, over 80% of the overall business. When George’s Son, Ben Taylor joined the company in 2001 he took the role of servicing the now smaller part of the business.
After 5 years of working with George, Absolute Filtration Ltd was created to Distribute the Industrial product line. It allowed Ben the ability to cater exclusively to the clientele and provide streamlined services and the products to match their exact needs.
